I'm ending this blog

sorry to my fellow readers, but ill be ending this blog. however, i did add a new one. so why am i ending 'a new beginning'? blogs that have a lot of memories that might never happen again. mistakes realized too late. a love that will never love back.


hopefully to those faithful readers, you wont give up in searching for my new blog archive. it wont be hard. just got to look hard enough. so to everyone, this is jodelyn, closing 'a new beginning' to open a new story for myself. a story of figuring out who i really am.

officially 19 years old :)

goodbye to being 18 years old.

there were many good memories

and there were many bad memories

but one thing is for sure

it was definitely a stepping stone 

to become the person that i am destined to be

so thanks for everything, 18,

lets hope that being 19 will have just the same memories

as being 18

if not, more.

done with my list from the last blog :]

i hella love my haircut<3 i swear, the salonist knows what i want, and she does my sideswept bangs hella nice :D ill most pics later :]

and from now on, i have to save up on my money because of school. no more wasteless spending!

christmas is just around the corner! :D and i have hella things to do tomorrow. :/ here's basically my layout for tomorrow:

8am - 2:30pm = work work work ((and babe has his interview at 11:30am!!! :D ))

3pm - 4pm = haircut/eyebrows done

4:30pm - 7pm = xmas shopping! :D

7pm - whatever = chilling at home with babe<3

and basically the people i have left for xmas shopping are:

- mom
- dad
- grandma
- tanya
- davince
- babe!

and only them since they are the only people i hella see :] lol but anyway, busy time for me tomorrow. probably because of the xmas season? gets me all giddy inside :D

crazy encounter at work today..

as i was heading towards the self-checkout area to know which cash register i was going to be assigned to after my lunch break, i saw this filipino couple standing near a self checkout stand staring at me oddly. at first i thought that they were lost or something, or that they were expecting me to approach them, but seeing that i didnt have my work apron on, i couldnt just walk up to them and ask if they needed help, because other customers might think im crazy when i actually work there. so when i finally had my apron on, i was assigned to watch the self checkout for a little while, and during that time, the filipino couple that i mentioned earlier approached me and the guy asked me if my last name was 'apostol', and i was like O.o 'yup it is', then he began asking if my dad's name was danny and if i had a uncle tato, and then i was more like O_o 'yea' and then thinking to myself, 'damn this guy is crazyyy!!!! hes probably one of them mind readers on the tv! :D' but then he told me that me and him were related, and that his last name was also 'apostol'. turns out, his dad and my dad are cousins, and that his dad had been trying to contacting my dad for awhile now because he recently came from the philippines to here. he knew that i was part of his family because apparently some of my coworkers know my last name, and when they saw his id card, they told him that there was a cashier in the store that has the same last name (me) and that we might be related, so he and his wife decided to wait until i came back from my lunch to meet me. it was pretty surprising to see one of my long lost family members in a place that i never thought that i would encounter them, at my work. haha. but hey, "expect the unexpected" right? and that was pretty unexpected. so he gave me his house number, and i gave him my new house number so that either he or my dad can call the other, and then he and his wife left the store.

when i arrived home from work, i didnt really tell my dad right away about the encounter because i wasnt really thinking about it when i walked into the house. haha it was actually an hour or so after i came home that i finally remembered the encounter and told my dad about it. i gave him paul's number, and then he called it and began talking with his cousin. at first my dad was like O.o because he wasnt so sure if he was his actual cousin, but then after awhile it sounded like he knew that the guy on the other side of the was in fact his cousin. in fact, my dad and my aunt is going to go to his house to visit him. i guess it mustve been a really long time since they saw him cuz my dad sounded really happy after the phone call. lol

babe is slowly getting sick now, and im pretty sure that he got it from me, since i was the only one that is sick in the house lol and also because i coughed in his mouth xD poor poor babe :/ but its okay though! cuz im going to be taking care of him! :D yay!!
